In this in person experience, you’ll receive your Level 1 & 2 Usui Reiki attunements through The Graceful Alignment™ approach, combining energy healing, somatic awareness, chakra connection, and heart-led teaching. Each level is delivered seperaratley at least a month apart so that self healing, awareness and practice can be emodied.

You are your first client and this is so important, so finding the right Reiki Master is key. Don't hesitate to email me if you would like to tal further.

What to expect

Reiki Level 1 – A Journey Inward

This is where your Reiki journey truly begins. Reiki Level 1 is all about self-healing, understanding energy, and reconnecting with your body and intuition. You’ll learn how to tap into universal life force energy, how it flows through the body, and how to use your hands to support balance and wellbeing.

You’ll receive your first Reiki attunement in-person with me in Otley Leeds, opening your energetic channels and activating your ability to work with Reiki energy.

We’ll explore the history of Reiki, how to prepare your space, smudging, energy cleansing, the chakra system, and how to give yourself a full Reiki self-healing treatment.

You’ll leave this day feeling calm, empowered, and deeply connected to your own healing journey.

You’ll also receive access to my online teaching portal, where you can re-watch video trainings, download your Level 1 Manual, and revisit each section in your own time before you attend for your attunement. There will be a 21 day self healing audio for you to tap into.

Reiki Level 2 – Becoming the Practitioner (at least a month later)

Level 2 is where things deepen and expand. This attunement day is about stepping into your role as a Reiki Practitioner, learning how to work with clients (if you choose to), and how to send Reiki across distance and time.

You’ll be attuned to three sacred Reiki symbols, including the powerful distance healing symbol, and learn how to integrate these into your healing sessions. We’ll explore setting up your Reiki space, client preparation, consultation forms, session flow, aftercare advice, and the importance of practitioner boundaries and ethics.

You’ll be guided through another self-healing practice and then you will be supported as you give and receive a full Reiki session with another participant, your first official practice client.

You’ll also receive access to the full Reiki Level 2 online training portal, including your Level 2 Manual, Reiki symbol sheets, client templates, and a 21-day self-healing audio for your second 21 day self healing.

I’m not here because I read something in a textbook. I’m here because I’ve lived through the kind of pain that knocks the breath out of you.

Grief. People-pleasing. Self-doubt. Burnout. Addiction. Toxic patterns I didn’t understand. I've had a lifetime of holding everything together for everyone else, but then finally deciding “No. I get to heal too, it's my time now.”

I walked myself back home through energy work, subconscious healing, somatics, spirituality, science, and a whole lot of messy, honest self-reflection.

I became sober. I broke generational cycles. I rebuilt my relationship with myself. I learned how trauma and energy live inside the body, I learnt a hell of a lot and I unlearnt alot also.

I’m a Reiki Master, Qigong teacher, subconscious healing practitioner, Quantum Flame Healer, sound healer, somatic facilitator and psychology student… but more importantly, I’m just a woman who has lived, lost, broken, healed, and risen again and again.

The Graceful Alignment Method™ is my heart. It’s everything that has held me, and now it’s holding others too. Reiki healing energy is a huge part of my journey.

Through all of the above I AM STILL ME, I haven't changed, I am present in my life, and I am finally able to say I am happy. Yes, I swear a little, I laugh loudly, I keep things real, and I have zero interest in spiritual perfection, we are who we are! Most importantly we accept others for who they are.

One thing is for sure, healing is messy AF, and it isn't easy, but once you find that practice that enables you to gently and gracefully heal forwards in your own time, it's beautiful, and then been able to share that gift, even more humbling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience to join the Reiki course?

No prior experience is needed at all. This course is perfect for complete beginners as well as those who’ve received Reiki before and feel called to deepen their connection. I’ll guide you every step of the way, we start with the foundations and build your confidence gently.

What’s included in the training?

You’ll receive full access to online training modules for Usui Reiki Level 1 & 2, printable manuals for both levels, and a beautiful in-person attunement experience over two days in Otley (Leeds). You'll also be invited into a supportive space over on Facebook where you can ask questions, share your journey, and connect with others walking a similar path.

What happens during the attunement?

The attunement is a sacred, energetic initiation that opens your channel to the Reiki energy. It’s deeply personal and powerful, many people feel emotional release, warmth, tingles, or even deep peace. You’ll be guided through it with love, intention, and grounding support from me.

Can I practise Reiki on others after this course? Do I need insurance?

Yes — after completing both Level 1 & 2, you’ll be certified to practise Reiki on others, including friends, family, or even professionally as a practitioner. Level 1 is focused on self-healing, and Level 2 expands your ability to support others with Reiki energy.

To practise professionally, you’ll need practitioner insurance. I personally use Westminster Insurance and recommend them. Your certificates from this course are fully supported by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), which means they’re recognised by most insurance providers. I’ll guide you through what you need.

What if I can’t attend the in-person attunement?

The in-person attunement is such a special part of the journey, but if you can’t make it for any reason, please get in touch. I’ll always do my best to support you with alternative options — whether that’s joining the next available date or discussing a 1:1 option. Our Reiki attunements are very quater throughout the year.

How do I know if I’m ready for this?

If something about Reiki keeps calling you back to it, trust that. You don’t need to be perfect or have it all figured out. Reiki meets you exactly where you are at and it begins with you. If you feel drawn to this, then you’re ready.

Is this training the same as The Graceful Alignment Method™ Practitioner Training?

No — this is a separate training specifically focused on Usui Reiki Level 1 & 2 attunements and practice. While Reiki is one of the tools we use within The Graceful Alignment Method™, this course is purely about traditional Usui Reiki.

The Graceful Alignment Method™ Practitioner Training is a more in-depth journey that includes Reiki Attunements, but also combines energy healing, somatic practices, subconscious rewiring, and the 7 Energy Anchors™ for holistic transformation. Many of my Reiki students choose to continue into Graceful Alignment Practitioner training, but it’s completely optional.
